Artificial Matters

Beginning with a random vegetable, I alter its materiality and multiplicity to create a landscape for a pavilion to be sited on. The pavilion design deals with concepts of artificial materiality-- while the bowl-like structure looks dense and heavy, the materiality of the mirror allows the object to simply "disappear" by reflecting the surrounding context.
